I have owned ebikes for over ten years now. My first ebike was a no frills Townie Go which had a 250 watt mid drive motor, no suspension, Schwalbe tires, 5 speed internal derailer. The reason I switched to ebikes was because I live on the coast with lots of hills and once I turned 60 my hips started to balk at standing up and pedaling. Bear in mind that I am a very fit male and exercise daily. Also my house is on the highest hill in the city and the road is very steep. I went to a local bike shop that had ebikes and they let me demo the bike and I told them that if the bike could get me up the hill without me standing up to pedal I would buy it and it did. I put 9400 miles on the bike over several years and sold it to a friend who still has the bike. I decided to switch up to a EBC Model R bike with front suspension and a 500 watt motor. It had a rear hub motor with 7 speed derailer, front suspension only, step thru design, 2.75 inch tires. Compared to the Townie this was a substantial upgrade and I put 5400 miles on that bike. On both bikes the lack of suspension was torture on my body and bumps became hazards (blown tires). I searched to find a full suspension road bike which are very hard to find without fat tires. The only ones available were over $4000 dollars. I stumbled on the Himiway bike while web surfing which I had never heard of, and was skeptical about the quality and performance of the bike. So I read all the reviews and several of the video reviews were…

60 year old male in Pennsylvania. I decided to get a little more active so I purchased a bike. This is my first ebike so I have nothing to compare it to, heck this is my 1st adult bike ever 😆. What I didn't want however was one of these hub bikes where pedaling is secondary. I definitely wanted a mid drive bike. It was important to me to buy a bike to keep the legs moving. There are so many things to like about this bike. It's premium components, ease of use, power when you need it to get up the steep hills. If I had any complaints it's that it's so gosh darn heavy (they almost all are). Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I only wish Himiway sold touch up paint.

The A7 Pro seemingly checks all the boxes you can imagine in its stock configuration. Class 2 mid-drive motor with torque sensor (and thumb throttle!), full suspension, integrated lighting (with brake illumination), step through frame, hydraulic disc braking, MIK compatible rear rack, etc - you get the picture. Nearly every other eBike competitor omits a few of these features at the benefit of costing less money. Now is the A7 worth the extra money?
Initial ride impressions - slightly over-pressurized suspension (for my weight), overly-strong pedal assist even at its lowest setting, gear lag when shifting up the middle gears. All easily adjustable and adaptable. After tuning the suspension and derailleur, the bike runs smoothly and mechanically well. As for the pedal assist, I just needed to adapt my pedaling to the torque sensor's generous assistance curve.
100km impressions - a solid commuter. The A7 Pro is very capable at getting up to speed on roads while providing confident braking performance when needed. Being an eBike, the it comfortably handles substantial rear loads in pannier bags without compromising handling or performance. The suspension handles bumps with ease and the motor easily compensates for the increased weight. Rearward lighting is great with the brake lights, but you could probably benefit from a helmet rear strobe for added awareness. The forward headlight is adequate and should also be supplemented with a strobe.
100km impressions - robust on…

I totally love this bike. The front and rear suspension is really great for going over bumps. You can cruise around with ease, thanks to the torque sensor. I am very impressed with how smooth the ride is.

This is my first e-bike and I absolutely love it! I did a lot of research before buying, and while e-bikes can get pricey, I feel like this Himiway was a great value for the money. I paid around $2,400, which is reasonable compared to some models that cost much more.
It doesn’t have every bell and whistle, but honestly—it has everything you need. The battery lasts a good while, especially if you use pedal assist wisely. I’ve found that with the right settings, I can go much farther without draining the battery too quickly.
I’ve always enjoyed riding bikes for exercise and pleasure, and on the proper setting this one enhances both without taking away the effort completely.
Bottom line: I’ll never go back to a regular bike. The Himiway A7 Pro has completely changed how I ride.

My first bike was himaway rambler. I didn't like it. After I got the pro 7 I thought this is what an Ebike should be!

Recently ordered both bikes , they arrived without any damage. They were very easy to assemble and are a pleasure to ride.
Looking forward to many miles of biking.

I recently bought an A7 commuter bike from Himiway. I have had several brands of bikes before. I have found no Ebike as powerful as the Himiway. The A7 has 134 nM of torque which produces great power off the line and up hills. I am a tall rider at 6’4” and the bike moves me along quite well. I also like the full suspension that dampens the hits from the road. The A7 suits all my needs very well. To get a comparable bike from another brand would cost $4,000 to $6,000.
And most importantly, they stand behind their products and provide great support.
