Himiway A7 Commuter eBike Full Suspension, Pure Comfort.

This bike is a great townie bike. It's very solid, yet nimble. Compared to my Cruiser, this bike is a more comfort-adjustable model with a very nice display/user interface, smooth and powerful drivetrain. The battery lasts a very long time. One of my favorite aspects is that the A7 is a very pedal-able bike, which helps alleviate range anxiety. However, I've run 140mi already but not run out of battery on any of my rides yet (4-25mi) each ride. Also, no need to replace the seat or post with this bike. I'm very impressed!

I've had the new A7 for about a month. Really have enjoyed riding it. It has a superior ride compared to my other two e-bikes. I have a Himiway original Cruiser and a Rad City 3. It's powerful like the Cruiser, but is more nimble and easy step thru like the Rad City. The rear suspension really helps smooth out the occasional bumps I encounter. I tried both the Torque and Cadence Modes. I prefer the Torque mode because it it gives my a better workout when riding. I set it to gear speed 8 and go between Touring and Sport pedal assist to the most part. I usually run between 14 to 18 mph in that set up. It will accelerate when you decide to pump a little harder. In the Cadence Mode I can have it in ECO or ECO+ and go 17-18 mph with very little resistance from the pedals. It would be good if you wanted to go without using a much energy. I prefer the Torque Mode because I want to get some exercise while riding. I can still kick it up to Turbo Mode if I need a little help with a headwind. The battery is better that either of my other e-bikes. Once I had put about 50 miles on it, the battery was only down two bars. Only thing I didn't like was the bell that came with the bike. I was very basic and had an annoying ding. Replaced it with an old school Schwinn "Ring-Ring" bell. Other than that minor item, I'm really enjoying the A7. Highly recommend.

I've had my A7 V2 bike for almost 2 months now. The dual suspension and Selle Royal seat make riding a dream! I ride a lot of trails, probably not what the A7 was designed for, but it handles all the ruts, roots, rocks, and bumps like nothing you can imagine a commuter bike would handle. If it is this smooth and comfortable for me on my trails, it has to be velvet riding city streets, even with the occasional railroad tracks to cross :-). While riding on the trail, the step-thru feature is a Godsend! Makes for quick, safe, and easy dismounting when the occasional stump gets in the way. Easy on, easy off is exactly what the modern day working person in 'nice clothes' needs. The rack on the back can easily cary the largest computer bag safely and securely without obstructing the rear tail lights.

The only negative comments I have are during assembly (which is a complete breeze, with one exception) mounting the headlight isn't the easiest thing in the world to figure out. That could be redesigned. And speaking of the headlight, the light beam is very narrowly focused. When riding at night, it is (in my opinion) a little too narrowly focused and doesn't illuminate enough on the either side, which can be challenging when making sharp left or right turns. I have a cruiser from 2020 which has a round headlight which lights up much broader then the rectangle headlight on the A7. I also wish the A7 came with a pre-mounted rearview mirror. Safety first!!

This bike is well packaged, easy to assemble. And feature after feature continually impresses. From a very flexible sensor set to a highly adjustable control screen the A7 commuter bike shows its flexibility for several different types of riding. I enjoyed the comfortable riding position and the fact it came with both front and back suspension. The adjustable stem made it easy to customize to my preferred riding position.

The new A7 arrived well packaged with no damage. The build only took about 1 hour and I now have about 80 miles on the odometer. First, it is a very different bike than my D3 Cruiser. The A7 is a great commuter bike. I have accessed the controls and raised the maximum speed and adjusted the Torque & Assist Ratio settings. It is not quite as fast as the bigger, heavier D3 cruiser. The A7 is nimble and easy to ride. I am favoring the Torque Sensor Setting over the Cadence Sensor setting for general riding. The combination of the 8 Speed Shimano Altus gearing, Torque cadence and selected Pedal Assist setting alows one to dial in the exact ride.

The A7 is a great commuter bike and I am looking forward to many miles and years of riding!

The Himiway A7 did not disappoint! All claims in Himiway’s ads are true. I’m providing this review as a happy owner and rider. I’m not technically capable of providing a mechanical review, but assure you that everything works exceptionally well. I trust Himiway to provide the best.

The full suspension with front fork shocks and a rear shock below the saddle post provide a smooth, comfortable ride. The five level auto pedal assist took some getting use to, but allows me to ride effortlessly. When I need an extra push, it is there. I haven’t experienced an 80 mile ride to test the range, but I always have enough battery to meet my needs.

My favorite features are the low, wide step through and thumb throttle. These make it easier and safer when mounting or dismounting, especially in commuter traffic with sudden stops and goes.

The A7 is a superior e-bike with quality features and parts. Even the paint job is beautiful. My lustrous deep blue is awesome, as seen in my picture.
