Himiway D5 ^2.0 eBike Endless Comfort: Turning Rough Roads into Silk.

This bike is great for us. I have the full size D5 2.0, but realized it was too large for my girlfriend to handle, so we ordered this 20”. It fits her perfectly and goes anywhere my larger bike does, including the city streets and sandy beaches here in Jacksonville. Assembly was easy (the front wheel axle was hard to find at first), but it went together easily. And customer service was responsive to any questions I had. I definitely recommend it.

The Himiway D5 2.0 20" eBike is amazing! And so is the Himiway customer service. I learned the hard way with my first eBike that the purchase is only one part of the total experience. If and when you need help or guidance, having great customer service is critical.

This is my second eBike, and my first Himiway. My new bike is also the second Himiway purchase by our household. Yep, we are repeat customers. Beginning with the packaging, one can see that quality is a priority at Himiway. Then, when the bike emerges from its cocoon, it is actually VERY easy to assemble.

Operating this D5 2.0 20" is also intuitive and easy to learn. As an older, shortish, and slightish rider, I cannot stress enough how much this bike has changed the game for me. If you want to feel in control and enjoy a comfortable ride, you should consider this eBike. Seriously, you will not be disappointed.

This is my second himiway ebike. The 20" is so much of an upgrade. The seat and suspension make the ride super comfortable. The automatic pedal is assist makes the ride much easier than worth about adjusting manually. The assembly was a breeze and it came packed so carefully. The 20 inch tires make getting on an off much easier than the 26 inch bikes. Can't wait for summer to get here to use it to its full potential.

This is my second Himiway bike and I have ridden over 100 miles since receiving my bike in February 2026. Unboxing and assembly was well under 1 hour, and delivery was 1 day after I was notified that my package was on its way. In looks this bike is much more refined than my D3 Cruiser Step Thru I purchased in 2020 (I still love that bike). It feels to be about the same weight but the center of gravity is much lower thanks to the smaller tire diameter and shorter wheel base. It is easy to get on and off and the ride is smooth with the dual suspension, which comes in handy when I encounter a pot hole or cross the railroad tracks. The seat is probably the most comfortable I have ever had for a bike. I have ridden on city streets, bike paths and a bit of packed trails, the treads on the tires grip very well. The thumb throttle is much different than the motorcycle style grip throttle of my D3 but I got used to it very quickly, and it's not jerky when used after a hard stop. I was happy to see that this paint finish (Midnight Blue) isn't flat or matte, there are some sparkles in there! I am extremely satisified with this model and have made it my main commuter bike.

This is the third Himiway bike that I have ordered. Really happy with the model. Avery smooth ride with the full suspension, quiet, and very comfortable factory seat. Packaging has also been upgraded to protect everything during shipping. The only issue I had was the front axle nut was stripped. I ordered a quick release axle from Amazon and am good to go. I would suggest a quick release axle be standard from the factory.

I was finally able to put our bikes together and a quick ride down our pothole riddled dirt road. I loosened the spring 2 turns to soften the ride. It rides so smooth I was actually able to remained seated, with my cruiser I have to stand up it's so rough. On the pavement the slow speed turning and balance are exceptional. We're really going to enjoy the auto and cruise control modes. Being in my 60's comfort was a top concern for me the the seating position is just what the doctor ordered. I wasn't quite sure about the Nebula Mist but so glad I went with it. Can't wait for warmer weather and longer rides. So far I'd say Himiway hit a home run with this one. Well done!

I made the switch from the original Step-thru to the D5 2.0 20”. I have liked the Step-thru, but it was starting to get harder for me to step through. I am a 5’4” 67 y/o female and this bike is so much easier to get on and off and much easier to maneuver. The roads I ride on are gravel and somewhat hilly and currently a bit rough after the winter. This bike is a great improvement. Everything about it is smooth! With the full suspension I don’t notice any bumps at all. Switching between assist levels and changing gears is seamless and easy. It is a solidly built bike with a well thought out design. I feel comfortable and confident riding the D5 2.0 20”!!
