How This eBike Range Calculator Works

The calculator first multiplies battery voltage by amp-hours to estimate total battery capacity in watt-hours. It then adjusts expected energy use for rider weight, bike weight, cargo, terrain, speed, pedal assist, temperature and tire type.

Real-world eBike range can still vary because of wind, tire pressure, battery age, frequent stops, riding style and motor efficiency.
