The best way to test an eBike battery is to use a digital multimeter to check the battery voltage. The bike display only provides an estimated battery level, while a multimeter gives a more accurate measurement of the battery condition.

Tools Needed Before Testing an eBike Battery
Before starting the test, prepare the following tools and follow basic safety rules.

If the charger shows a full charge but the voltage is much lower than expected, the battery may have a problem.
