Himiway D5 ^2.0 Camo Full Suspension eBike Blend In, Ride Out: The Top Choice for Hunting

Absolutely the quietest bike I have ever ridden. I took this bike in on a hunt. Drove it to within 50 yards of the stand, parked it and got situated for the evening. Deer never knew that I was there. Was able to take a doe home with me that evening. If you are looking for that extra edge when traveling to your deer stand, the Himiway D5 2.0 is the bike you can count on to get the job done. Battery life is an issue but hopefully it can be resolved soon to make this the BEST bike I have ever purchased.

My wife got a Himiway bike a few years back, and I went with a different brand. I always loved her bike and honestly wished I’d gone with Himiway too—the quality, the way it was put together, and how smoothly it rode. So I finally decided to invest in a new one for myself, and when I saw the Camo D5 2.0, I knew it was the one.

I seriously can’t say enough about this bike. From the moment it arrived, I was impressed. It was packaged extremely well and protected, and assembly was a breeze. The build quality is fantastic, it looks amazing, and the ride… absolutely the smoothest I’ve ever experienced. All I could say was “Wow!”

I definitely recommend this bike 100%. You won’t be disappointed!

I ordered the trailer as well but hasn’t arrived yet! Will update once that comes in and I can try it out!

I have had 3 new Himiways in the last 10 months.

1- Big Dog. This was a very nice bike and liked it very well. Put 3000 miles on it.

2- The new A7. This bike bike was even nicer and easier to control for a senior. Very forgiving and comfortable. Put 900 miles on it. 26 inch wheels are better for my weight and height.

3- The new D2 0.2. Himiway hit it out of the park with this one. Rear suspension is much better than the A7. Comfort of ride, ease of control and handler bar adjustments are top notch. I like the fat tire ride better than the narrower A7. I am very impressed and the D5 0.2 checks all the boxes for being the best ride I have ever had. I put on 25-30 miles daily. Thank you for the chance to test the A7 and the D5 0.2. I have no complaints on performance and quality. Shipping was 2 months to the day after payment but I do hope this was not normal or expected by anyone. Thank You,, Jim Lola

The Himiway D5 2.0 is a great upgrade! This bike has a super comfortable seat and riding position right of the box! With the ability to adapt it to you own personal preferences. The Torque sensing pedal assist is a game changer, making this bike effortless to maintain speeds, and assist levels. The full suspension makes all the difference for longer rides, and for riding in the back country. The display is easy to read and user friendly. I can't say enough about Himiway E-bikes, and the D5 2.0 is another improvement! The price is also extremely fair, when you consider what you get.

For what's offered (dual suspension, torque/cadence sensor, upper end quality Maxxis 30 p.s.i. tires, maintenance free rear suspension coil, MIK bike rack, multi function display, etc.) a real value is being offered here. I live and ride in the Mojave desert and need a reliable bike to go where trails don't exist. I have an original Cruiser with 13,000 miles and hope this one goes the distance, too.

The Himiway D5 2.0 is an excellent quality all around bike for the money!

The full suspension linkage is very well made and basically turns trails in to a very smooth, supple ride.

Not only is it a well built, quality made, solid bike; but it comes with almost everything you need out of the gate saving you some money down the road.

Obviously comes full suspension ebike, but also comes equipped with a rear rack that’s integrated into the frame, adjustable stem, ergonomic hand grips, a bell, slightly swept back handlebars for a more upright riding position, headlight, and integrated tail lights as well that also act as break lights, emergency lights, and directional blinkers to let people behind you which direction your turning! Don’t know too many other bikes that come with those. And most of the above are extra purchases for most ebikes.

Inside the display you have the option of changing almost everything which is a game changer. You can switch between torque and cadence sensors, you can change the class to a class 1, class 2, or class 3 ebike depending on the laws in your local area with some putting a limit on power. You can also change the torque ratios per pas level, how the power kicks in as far as smooth, standard, and quicker, etc… There is so much more you can do inside the display it’s impressive.

Very few gripes about this product. If you’re taller you might need to purchase a longer seat post as the one that comes…

I was lucky enough to be part of the beta test group for the D5 2.0. I own two Himiway Cruisers and have loved riding them the past few years and I was interested in seeing how the D5 2.0 compared. The full suspension is super smooth and the seat is a lot more comfortable although I prefer a taller seat post but the standard seat worked fine. I put over 100 miles on it in the first week! I rode 32 miles the first day using the AUTO setting. The battery will obviously run down faster in this setting but for those not planning on going on long rides it's great. I rode 50 miles two days later using ECO setting peddling the entire time and made it home with a flashing battery signal. The final day I rode about 30 miles to reach my goal of 100 miles in a week. The D5 2.0 is a great bike and compared to other companies it's a no brainer!

First of all, this is my third Himiway. I bought my first Himiway D3 Cruiser when they originally released and have been a fan ever since. Each ride is quality through and through. If I have questions, there's tons of resources located in video instructions in YouTube from other Himiway riders or contact Himiway Support through email or call. My son's family each bought a Himiway, as well as his inlaws. I live in the PNW, which means I bike on the beach, on Forest Service Roads as well as private forest timberlands. My favorite is the Olympic Discovery Trail from Port Townsend to Forks, WA, which is a combo gravel/asphalt trail. Each Himiway handled the terrain with quality and solid performance. I rode along with another family member who was riding her RAD Bike. Over each bump you could hear the Rad bike chain rattling and mechanisms clunking along. Himiway was smooth and solid.

The D5 2.0 ST has some great features, including hydraulic brakes, blinkers, riding transitioning modes, thumb throttle and, my favorite, the handlebar angle adjustment. I can ride longer and feel more confident as the handbars are adjusted perfectly. To charge the battery I can leave on the bike or remove, no changes there. The new bike seat is memory foam and a little larger, which means I can ride longer distrances in comfort.
