This bike is a beast! It is big and goes over almost anything. You can tell when you unbox the bike that it is packed well for shipping, and that it is solidly built and has quality components. The Bafang mid-drive M620 motor is powerful and has plenty of power without being too noisy. The bike shifts very smoothly and quietly with the press of the levers. The tires are beefy and have plenty of traction to keep you going over dirt, loose gravel, leaves, sand whatever. Keep in mind though that this is a heavy bike clocking in at over 88 lbs. with the battery. It may take a while for some riders to get used to it, and lifting it by yourself will require a bit of muscle. I am 6'-5" tall, weigh 270 lbs. and the bike fits me fine. The hydraulic seat post height is adjustable by loosening the clamp on the post tube and retightening, and via the lever.
Downsides? I wish that Himiway would provide more up to date information on the components with the bike and update their information on-line. In my opinion, the "new" HIMIWAY logo decal on the front tube is way too big, it makes the bike look like a rolling billboard. I like the smaller one from previous models. Also, making the bike lighter, if possible, without sacrificing quality would be a plus.

Purchased this D7 a couple of weeks ago. Lots of fun. Lots of power. Only one complaint so far. It pulls to the left. I don’t know why, although the front wheel appears to be misaligned. When I measure it, the wheel is about 1/4 inch closer to the right fork than the left, and doesn’t line up with the frame. They can’t seem to fix it at the bike shop where I bought it. In fact another one they were selling seemed to have an offset tire just like mine. Has anyone had a similar experience with the D7, or know how to fix this issue?

I test drove the regular Cobra and loved it. So I ordered the newer model D7 pro. The bikes have plenty of power, good batteries and nice enough mostly Shimano components. There's enough fun room to upgrade stuff as you go. Tough bikes, great frame, I'm 6'4" and 310 lbs and it does me just fine on the canyon and mountain trails. We went back and ordered a D3 step thru for my lady. Himiway has great customer service and good turn around times. Tim Earp was my dealer and nothing but praise for him & the Himiway staff we've dealt with so far.

I’ve been riding my Himiway bike for about three months now, and I’m really impressed. It’s powerful, smooth, and a lot of fun to ride—I always look forward to getting back on it.
I usually ride at level 3, even though it offers five assist levels plus a sport mode, which gives you plenty of flexibility depending on how much power you want. Whether I’m on trails or rough terrain, the bike handles it with ease and feels very capable.
So far, I honestly can’t think of anything I’d want improved. It’s been a great experience overall.

Only wished that the rear rack for this bike is still available for purchase. It would be nice to be able to carry my extra battery for any extended range trip, otherwise the bike had met all of my expectations so far.
