March 8 is International Women's Day --- a day dedicated to women and an opportunity to remind the world why women's rights are important on every other day of the year. The theme for International Women's Day (8 March) 2020 is, I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women's Rights. So, on this day, you should be the most beautiful queen.
How is International Women's Day celebrated around the world?
International Women's Day is an official holiday in at least 20 countries, including: Afghanistan, Cuba, Laos, Russia, and Vietnam. In many of these countries, tradition holds that men honor their mothers, wives, girlfriends, and colleagues with flowers and small presents. This doesn't stop the flurry of lively celebrations from taking place across the US, though, as numerous political rallies, business conferences, and government and corporate events happen all across the country to honor the special day and bring together women of all different backgrounds and cultures.
How to spend this perfect holiday?
Make yourself beautiful. Purple has been associated with the color of choice for International Women's Day. "Purple is historically associated with efforts to achieve gender equality." Perhaps you can try purple clothes as your first choice.
Do something kind for a woman you love. Whether it's your mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, girlfriend, or a female friend ... Why not celebrate IWD by making them feel special?
Send flowers, write a card, give a small gift, or take them out to a movie. It doesn't matter if you're a man or woman; we can all show our gratitude and love for the women around us.
Attend a women's networking event. Whatever professional industry you're in, March is an excellent month for women's events and conferences. These events help female professionals to support and empower each other, share knowledge and arrange mentorships.
Leisure day with family. As women in the new era, we have independent and strong personalities, but we should also treasure the warm time with our family. If it weren't for the festival, it would be difficult for us to have a chance to spend a harmonious and happy day together.
Tip: What should you do for your wife or girlfriend on Women's Day?
Book a spa day. I doubt there's a woman alive who would turn her nose up at a spa day. Treat your lovely lady to massage treatments, manicures and pedicures, and a day unwinding in the magical spa facilities.
Serve breakfast in bed. Women's Day couldn't be better spent than in the comfort of a warm, cozy bed. Get up early and create a special breakfast for your loved one, be it pancakes, fruit salad, or bacon and eggs – served on a tray with a vase of hand-picked flowers. A little effort goes a long way!
Outdoor cycling. Ride Himiway electric bicycles for a two-person trip. Maybe you haven't had such an easy ride for a long time. A research report shows that two people are the easiest to enhance feelings in long-distance cycling. You can bring picnic gear and lie on the grass for the afternoon sun.
Enjoy a romantic dinner out. Give your lady some time out from cooking and spoil her with a romantic meal out. Whether you choose to treat her with breakfast or dinner with a view, or you decide to book a seat at a lavish French restaurant, she will appreciate the effort.
