D5 ST(Zebra ST) / All-terrain Electric Fat Bike

I was excited when this arrived because I have a Cruiser that I have enjoyed for over a year, but found that it was difficult to get my leg high enough to clear the seat. The step thru style of the D5 works so much better for me. The changes in the controls took a bit to adjust to yet in the end I find it works well. My disappointment and reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was when I unpacked the parts of the bike for assembly I found deep scratches and gouges in the frame caused by the front tire shaft. There was no external damage to the box and after further investigation I could see when the front tire was placed in the box the “protective” cone was damaged and moved out of place. I have contacted customer service and only after an exchange of emails a small compensation amount was offered. Thankfully the frame is aluminum so corrosion at the damage point will be at a minimum even without sanding and painting.

This is a top tier e-bike for me. Just the quality that Himiway puts out is nothing short than amazing. I specifically chose this brand and e-bike because it has all the features that I am looking for. A strong and durable e-bike that looks cool and can handle any terrain even on longer rides. Shipping did took awhile to get to me because of unforeseen issues on the shipping side of things but that got worked out in the end. Assembly was nice and easy thanks to a step by step video guide. Once I put together the e-bike I did a test drive and it rides like a dream. It even got some heads turning on how great the e-bike looks in person. From pedaling or just full throttle. It is a very fun e-bike to ride on. It is definitely a solid e-bike and to me it's worth owning it. I ride my e-bike daily. Thanks Himiway!
